Every Day Should Be Unwrapped Like A Precious Gift!
Incoming 6th Grade Summer Reading List: "Making Bombs for Hitler" by Marsha Skrypuch & "The Westing Game" by Ellen Raskin. Also, workouts for the brain cells in both Language Arts and Literature are available on IXL at "Grade 5 Language Arts"! Highly recommended are all of the exercises on "Reading Strategies" as well as "Grammar & Mechanics".
Meanwhile, the incoming 5th Grade has it much easier than the incoming 6th grade, with only one novel to read this summer before we return after Labor Day. And it's a wonderful page-turner called, "The One and Only Ivan"!!!
Extra Help is available upon request after-school every Tuesday and Thursday.
