The Religion Club began in 2012 to develop and reinforce Catholic doctrine and fellowship. The students participate in the yearly Archdiocesan Catholic Challenge, the Pro-Life Van Tassell Essay Contest of Bloomfiled, NJ, and engage in other charitible works.
Historically, we have won first prize in the Catholic Challenge and placed in the top four within the Diocese. Each year, the students undergo rigorous training in Catholic history and doctrine.
As a group, we meet on a weekly basis and participate in various activities, including watching films on the lives of the saints, Church history, and the Bible. We begin each session with prayer, followed by snacks and a bit of social time. We meet every Thursday after school. Students in the seventh and eighth grades are encouraged to attend.
