Affectionately known as GSA, the faculty and staff strive to provide a welcoming, loving enriching atmosphere where students thrive academically, socially, physically and emotionally in a christian value-centered environment.

Students begin their school day knowing that they are blessed and loved by God as they pray together and honor our country with the pledge to the flag. When someone celebrates a birthday we pray this special prayer over them:

Loving God, you created all the people of the world, and you know each of us by name. We thank you for (names), who today celebrate his/her birthday. Bless him/her with your love and friendship that he/she may grow in wisdom, knowledge and grace. May he/she love his/her family always and be faithful to his/her friends. Grant this through Christ our Lord. Amen.

Students attending GSA receive a full curriculum following the Common Core Curriculum Standards along with the Newark Archdiocesan Curriculum Standards. One hundred percent of graduates are accepted into the high school of their choice and ninety -eight percent attend a catholic high school.
