ClassDojo is the main form of communcation that I will be using to send parents updates and also post homework assignments and announcements. Once school begins, I will be adding the students to a class and sending inviting parents to join as well. To receive updates quicky, I reccomend downloading the app on a smart phone, however, ClassDojo can also be accessed by downloading the app onto a tablet or visiting classdojo.com.

ClassDojo  is a school communication platform that teachers, students, and families use every day to build close-knit communities by sharing what's being learned in the  classroom  home through photos, videos, and messages. Class Dojo is a great tool because teachers can encourage students for any skill or value — whether it's working hard, being kind, helping others or something else! Students receive points which can then be used for different rewards throughout the year. This is also the for sure way that parents can connect with myself and our class. Almost like Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram, I can post daily photos and updates on our page. 

All important announcements will be posted on our third grade Dojo page.  I will also be posting all assignments on Class Dojo as well as test and quiz dates. Our enrichment teachers will also be posting updates on our Class Dojo as well!
